With over 24 years working in all areas of the insurance market Alan has extensive experience, up to senior corporate level, in providing very profitable business solutions especially in product management and development.
His deep desire is to help companies succeed with the development of people, products and processes.
His experience includes having a leading role in the implementation, development and marketing of the highly successful and innovative award winning IGNITION™ programme for young drivers. As a result Hibernian General Insurance secured over 22,000 new additional motor insurance customers in less than 2 years and helped change the perception of this sector of the market to the industry and public alike.
With highly developed facilitation skills Alan specialises in the application of critical thinking to ensure that companies concentrate on delivering results. One of his distinct qualities is to think through and interpret strategic documents to make them relevant for all people working in an organisation.
Alan holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Henley Management College, Oxfordshire, England and is a member of the MBA Association of Ireland. Other memberships of Professional Bodies include The Insurance Institute of Ireland and Associate Membership of IMCA (Institute of Management Consultants & Advisers)
